Bennett Crossing is located in the School District 29J within Adams County.  The school district has a preschool, elementary, middle and high school.  Additionally, SD29J has a collaborative program with Morgan Community College offering college classes for qualified students in accordance with the PSEO Legislation in Colorado.  The mission of Bennett School District 29J is to provide a safe environment for a quality education with high expectations for success, ensuring students obtain the necessary skills to achieve their full potential and to think critically as responsible citizens in a complex, diverse, and ever-changing world.  Click here for access to School District 29J.

King Soopers Marketplace


Located immediately west of Bennett Crossing, is a 66,000SF+ King Soopers.  The store provides shoppers with both traditional grocery offerings and an expanded product offering that includes general merchandise such as outdoor furnishings, dinnerware and holiday items. Since King Soopers opened in 2007, Bennett began to serve the retail needs of a broader community and geographic area.  The grocers customer profile extends over 60 miles beyond Limon.  This location is influenced by a high volume of commuters and travelers, including semi-tractor trailers as evidenced by the success of Love’s Truck Stop which opened in 2011.
