Michelle Gayeski
g2 real estate, LLC

Michelle has 20 years of experience in commercial real estate development that includes healthcare, commercial office, and mixed-use projects.  Her start at Gayeski & Associates in mid-90’s was focused on suburban, mixed-use development projects where she was involved in many aspects of development, from planning and entitlements to marketing, leasing, and property management. “I recognized the opportunity to learn the business from my father, a man I greatly respect.”

In 2004 she joined NexCore Group, a firm specializing in healthcare-related real estate development. As Vice President of Leasing, she had the opportunity to focus on the strategic plan for various outpatient facilities and hospitals, most located primarily in the west Chicago suburbs.  She was involved in the complexities of on-campus {hospital} development projects from feasibility stages through asset management.

In 2013 Michelle started g2 real estates, LLC to focus on land transactions and development locally, in conjunction with Gayeski & Associates.  Development opportunities vary in size and scope from Westminster to Bennett.  “Bennett Crossing is our most exciting project yet!  There is tremendous opportunity to fulfill unmet demands along the east I-70 Corridor.”

Michelle is a CU graduate, 1993, BS International Business/Real Estate.  She  resides in central Denver, enjoys time outdoors and is an avid cyclist.   She is a current member of the Denver Cherry Creek Rotary Club, is an advocate for the Denver Women`s Homelessness Initiative, previously served as a board member for CASA of Adams and Broomfield Counties serving abused and neglected children in the court system, as well as participating in other local non-profits activities.

Larry Gayeski moved from Illinois to Colorado in 1973 with a national CPA firm.  In 1978, Larry and a partner formed their own public accounting practice which grew rapidly with the procurement of large local and regional type clients.  The CPA firm quickly became recognized for its high quality work and extensive involvement and leadership in the business community.  The company’s stature in the public accounting profession was instrumental in attracting talented CPAs to join them over the next decade.

Gayeski states he thoroughly enjoyed public accounting but felt the need for more excitement and stimuli.  “Real estate investing and development offered that.  Our CPA firm’s exposure to large business and real estate clientele provided the background and experience for a meaningful transition to real estate investment and development.  His real estate business ventures benefit from his background in accounting, taxation, finance and risk management.  “It helps to identify and evaluate the many aspects of risk associated with any real estate deal.”

Gayeski believes if you become technically informed and passionate about your work, you will do well.  With the mantra of “under promise and over deliver”, coupled with transparency and acumen for detail, his real estate ventures have prospered over the years.  For the last twenty years, Gayeski’s companies have worked principally on development of its own portfolio. He currently oversees the investment selection, due diligence, development, portfolio management and overall operations of a closely held portfolio.  The portfolio consists of principally income producing retail properties and strategically located commercial in-fill sites which are entitled or in the process of entitlements.  Additional inventory of larger tracts of land, all located on interstate interchanges in the metro area, currently provide interesting and creative potential and opportunities.

Larry is a past Rotary Club president; former Chairman of the Board of the Metro North Chamber of Commerce; recipient of the Metro North Chamber of Commerce Developer of the Year; and has served on many civic and non-profit boards over the years.
